Per Project/Song rates: 

Single Instrument / Vocal: $100 per song (studio time only)

Single Instrument / Vocal: $150 per song (studio & one instrument)

Programmed Song Demo: $350 per song (keys, bass, drums, and lead vocal) *

Programmed Song Demo Premium: $500 per song (keys, bass, drums, lead vocal, and a misc. instrument) *

Live Tracking (must track 3 or more songs): $600 to $750 per song which includes live Bass, Guitar (Acoustic & Electric), Drums, keyboards, lead and background vocals.  

*All parts programmed/sequenced to emulate a live musician session.  Except for Premium where a single live instrument of your choice is hired.

Per Hour Rates:

Standard Songwriter/Artist Rate: $70 per hour w/engineer*

Commercial Rate: $90 per hour w/engineer plus $20 for mp3 transfers

Block Rates:  (Per Day Only)

Block Day Rate (12 hours):  $500 w/engineer

Block Day Rate (12 hours):  $350 w/o engineer (2nd engineer as needed)

Retainer Rate (10 hours):  $500 (can break up the time as needed over a 2-month period)

New Clients get a Special Rate on their 1st Session:

New Clients (excluding packaged deals) - Commercial or Individual will get a special rate on their first session.  Come to The Cutting Room Studio and book (4) four hours with engineer for $35 per hour!  That's right $35 per hour!!  This is cheaper than our day block rate w/engineer and you don't have to use more than (2) Two HOURS AT A TIME!!  Break up you session over two different days if needed!  We are very confident if you give us a try you will be back!  Don't forget our New Client Special.

* * * NEW DEAL! * * * Mono-Monday - 1/2 Price Mondays!:

This is on a first come first serve basis.  We call it Mono-Monday.  Scratching your head yet?  Basically you can come in and pay only half of our published hourly rates!  This does not include Package Prices, Block Rates, or Commercial Rates - ONLY Standard Hourly Rates*.  Don't forget Mono-Monday and get your studio time with deep discounts!  (Includes engineer!)

* * * NEW DEAL! * * * Client Referral Program:

Did you know for every client you refer to us you can get free studio time!  You can get 10% of every hour your referral books through us.  Meaning your referral books 10 hours and your get an hour FREE!  Of course it can be any amount of hours and you can redeem your time during your next session or let them build up for as much as 6 months!  Client referral is just another way to save on your studio time with us.

Booking a week at The Cutting Room will save you 20%!  That's right - book 4 days and get the 5th day FREE!  Start your session on Tuesday and end up with a FREE DAY ON SATURDAY!  This is for Block Rates Only!  If you are a returning client you can also combine this with Mono-Monday and it will be like 1.5 days free for a 6-day booking!  This deal will allow you the creative time you will need while saving CASH!  You can save enough to book an extra players! 

Admusic/Jingles and Voice Over Rates:

After 3pm Music is the production wing of our company.  Any production we do for corporations like jingles, audio books, spot production, on-hold advertising, etc. is on a per bid basis.  Out of all the elements we produce for companies, jingles vary the most on cost since each style of music may require various numbers of musician(s) and singer(s) to execute the production.  Go to "The Jingle Production Process" article while you are 'logged into the Client Area' for all the details on the way we produce jingles.  Like wise if you require more information on recording a song go to "The Song Production Process".
